He started as a newscaster and sportscaster in CBC and attended a wide range of events for CBC’s Television and Radio divisions. Talking about his educational background, he firstly graduated from Lisgar Collegiate Institute in 1957, and then, this was not enough for him to pursue a career in the broadcasting sector so, for this, he again applied at the University of Ottawa. His interest in broadcasting was something very old and enduring. The reason for his death is due to pancreatic cancer, which he was battling since March 2019.
