

He started as a newscaster and sportscaster in CBC and attended a wide range of events for CBC’s Television and Radio divisions. While studying at the University of Ottawa, he majored in Philosophy and took his first step as a news broadcaster at CBC for the sake of gaining practical knowledge about the ins and outs of the Television World. Talking about his educational background, he firstly graduated from Lisgar Collegiate Institute in 1957, and then, this was not enough for him to pursue a career in the broadcasting sector so, for this, he again applied at the University of Ottawa. His interest in broadcasting was something very old and enduring.
