We found it easy to get to Sibenik from the airport by taxi and the ferries run an excellent service over to the. Nowhere is further than about 20-30 minutes away by foot, there are some great walks and I would say it is impossible to get lost. The island is a great place to potter around. Rooms were well-serviced, good-sized beds, nice crisp white sheets & ample supply of clean white towels everyday. Lunches and dinners were always delicious, we did try other restaurants but the restaurant Val was our favourite. Breakfast was good with a choice of eggs any style cooked to order and always a good selection of fresh fruit, yogurts etc. We didn’t notice the noise of the bells, previously mentioned in reviews, perhaps because of where our room was situated and the shutters did a pretty good job of keeping the light out in the morning.
